Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Flocked for the Cure

Our big ZTA Foundation fundraiser is “Think Pink You’ve Been Flocked” were we have raised $4,000 in 2 year. This was done by "Flocking" local families and businesses. People pay us to place pink yard flamingos in friend’s yards or outside local businesses. This fundraiser has won us the 18G District Alumnae award for Service. We beat out other alumnae chapters in Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico.  This year we will be flocking again in October.

Chile and Cheese Festival

Every year our chapter sets up a booth at the Roswell Chile Cheese Festival to hand out pink ribbons and other ZTA breast cancer education material.

New Events

In the next year we are looking at doing a pink out game with a local high school, hand out pink ribbons at a local bar during a NFL pink out game, and looking into doing community wide service activities. Suggestions are always welcome.
